Degas PP700s-a & Set Point on Huma

I should have my Artimis PP700S-A Friday and not sure when I will get my Huma Regulator. The PP700S-A is a Canadian Sourced gun.

Three Questions:

1-Other than dry firing, is there another way to degas the air tube?

2-I am looking for no less than 12FPE with JSB 15.89 or 18.13 grain pellets. Off the top of my head I think that 565 fps should get me there with the 18.13 What would be a good start for the regulator setpoint in BAR?

3-I believe I will need to drill out the transfer port to 5/32" (.156) to stay under the 75% of pellet with only having a standard drill bit set.

Other thought?

1. Make sure gun is unloaded. Grab the grip in reverse so the pistol is pointed at you. Put the hammer on the edge of a table (not your wife’s dining room table) and push down. You will be pressing the hammer into the valve pin and it will degas. I do mine in little bursts.

2. 120b is a good starting point since you aren’t shooting for the moon.

3. That should do the trick
