Definition of "Totally Stinks"

So, it's too dark to shoot by the time I get home from work these days, and I sat at my desk all day this beautiful, sunny, breeze-less week.... Had to work Saturday as well. Made a repair to the gun this week and did manage to get some chrony readings before leaving for work where there is just enough light. ES=7/ SD=2!!!!

Now it's Sunday, my day to shoot. See the picture below....UGH! Let's see a show of hands for those with the same dilemma....no don't, there isn't enough room.

Guess I cloud always get out there and pretend that its EBR. LOL

One thing the winds can do for you, is teach you holdoff. It can also teach you when to pull the trigger during a lull. As my mother always said, it is an ill wind that blows no good!

I was going to go hunting this morning but the wind is howling where I live. I head to work while it’s still dark out and I don’t get home from work till it’s dark again.....so yeah, I feel your pain.

Lol yup same here normally. I work Monday to Saturday from 6:30-5 sometimes later like yesterday got done at 6. However I lucked out today as it's been windy everyday and off and on rain the last 2 weeks but this morning is still and 27 with a clear sky so I'm going hunting/shooting!

At least its not like the weather here. Woke up this morning and my lake was frozen over, it’s that time of year so now I’ll wait a week or so then I’ll go set up a 50 yard target and some small targets at 100 yards or so on the lake and I can shoot from inside my home where it’s warm.ill deal with
with the wind being I’m on the north side of the lake.

Ha, didn't think I was alone...
I went ahead and got out in the wind yesterday...never hit 17 mph but did get gusts at 13+. I had very good luck hitting small targets at 65 yd. These JSB MKII really do buck the wind. Impressed.

But I was really wanting to know how the gun was grouping after the reg. repair. Chrony SD= 8, so I knew it was going to be good. I got up this morning before work and it was dead still and 31F. I was about to leave and said, I can't pass this up so I set up a target at 55 yd and took a few sighter warm ups and then sent 10 downrange. Totally impressed with this Impact now. Really has turned into a great shooter. Big thanks to Ernest!
Late for work but worth it!

I hear you...this weekend we had winds over 30mph....that just totally stinks.
