Deer Problems again

There comes a time when you have to go native on pests. Kill them if at all possible. Leave the remains for the others to see what happens. If the law wont allow pest control do what you can until hunting season. If you don't want to do the killing there is no shortage of hunters who will assist you. I had squirrels chewing on my house and I tried everything. In the end I resorted to unrestricted air gun warfare. Problem solved via JSB Kings.

Lol risky but man the ethics. I do agree If you kill one they will likely avoid that area. You are risking the law tho. If you can't serve the time don't do the crime is what they say.

I don't think scaring deer is wrong or illegal

They eat douglas fir. I don't think I can plant anything that they avoid, would not work.

I had hunters out here last year, but the deer hid and never even saw one of them!
This year I will be ready!

Can't you get a nuisance license from your wildlife officers? I know most if not any legit farmers, tree's or otherwise have the right to protect their livelyhood. In my state all they need to do is call the DNR to let them know they will be taking a deer, one or more out of season.

Also scaring to deter is fine, but harming that can lead to maiming, a slow death or permanent damage is not cool, ethical or legal(that I know of) regardless of reason.
