@Csbrown5 Definitely not the polymag or Hades. The 145 grain Nosler slug should do ok within 50 yards. is this the original .357 Bulldog, the M357, a Pitbull, Veradium Bulldozer, Taurus? What does your state require for the minimum FPE produced to take deer with an air rifle?

M357 the state said 30 caliber no FPE that I found

@Csbrown5 You may want to take a look at this thread.

I bought this gun on AGN the only pellet I could get over 900 fps is the hades, I am not sure what all has been done to this gun, I know that it has a Huma regulator set at 140 bar or in that case the gage says 2000 psi, it has a huma quick fill on the front of the tube and heavier cocking lever the old parts were sent with the gun, would a heavier spring help? The gun is shooting really well with the setting it is on, I would hate to change that

@Csbrown5 I’m afraid I’m of little help here. It appears that you may have purchased a regulated Pitbull Airguns modified Bulldog where they added a plenum and Huma Air regulator. I’d call that shop and ask them about how to set your rifle up for slug weight of your choice for the upcoming deer season. My Bulldogs are unregulated.
