Hunting deer in Alabama 30 caliber or bigger. I have a Daystate .30 caliber, what’s is your thought about using it 80 fp? I would thing I need more power to take down a deer at 50 yards or less

Small deer recommend 100fpe minimum, here's basic guidelines for different size prey https://www.airgundepot.com/vault/articles/basic-airgun-hunting-guidelines/
They also recommend .357 but it's a bit dated, 30cal now can put out more than that. My .30 cal vulcan 3 was shooting 65.5g slugs @ 990 fps / 142fpe but just tuned it down a tad to shoot 62.5g @ 1000fps / 139fpe
The reason I tuned it this high is so it still have over 100fpe @ 100 yards

Just check with where you live because some states require a certain caliber size not just fpe they put out
