Debating on what to do with my FX crown

In todays world a guy nailed a banana to a wall and called it a art piece. If you don't need the money from selling it then frame it and put it on your wall just to look at. I think it's called 3D art.

Keep it. Invite a friend to go shoot starlings or pigeons or coyotes or whatever. Use it to introduce newbies/friends/women to the pcp airgun world. It is a very well made and well tested pcp!

Perhaps convert the Crown to a .177 or .22 target rifle…

… tune it down to shoot 8.4g .177 or 14g .22 at say 850fps… it may not even need a moderator.

It would then be a much different rifle to shoot than your .30 Impact.

so my first NICE airgun was my FX Crown VP. Great gun but only shot it probably 3-5 times, ended up getting an FX impact within a week of buying the crown (slippery slope this airgun game is) and now i almost feel that its just pointless having the FX crown in .30 and an FX Impact Mii also in .30 . not even sure how much they go for but yeah, just looking for some opinions, and might as well display the hydrodip i did years ago on it

not sure if its a good place to ask but what do you all think i should list this for if i do decide to sell it? Thanks for the feedback ahead of time

Why don’t you change it to another caliber. You’ve done a great job making it look good. The money you’d loose selling it would probably cover the cost of a caliber change, or come darn close.

I've had a fair amount of airguns and the Crown is the only one I ever sold that I regretted and went and bought another one. I won't be selling this one!

Guns are just generally too useful to sell. Particularly if you're on the fence about it. There are some guns that maybe need to move along (I've never had one) but if you have to ask, I'd say you need to hold onto it until you are sure. Just my $0.02...
