AOA has the Bushnell Engage 2.5-10x44 on sale for $200,. Lowest price I’ve seen. Picked one up for my 6.5 Creed.

Yo, what? I have that scope and it seem pretty clear to my crumby eyes 20/45. How does it stack up to an Alpha in image quality and clickablity.

The Engage have pretty good Chinese glass in some cases clearer than the Forge. I have couple of the 6-24x50 that looks clearer than the 2 Forge I just compared.
The next level up Korean Bushnell NITRO were on sale for $199 at Cameraland. Someone mentioned Midway too. The 5-20x44 has an eyebox that's not as pleasant as the 6-24x50 version which I also have both Korean.
I just can't recommend the Forge 3-18x50 specifically based on first hand experience.
The Alpha6 will hold its own in clarity among Chinese scopes costing up to $1200.00. You buy them all to see for yourself if you don't believe me. Simple. Just return what you don't like. First hand experience is always the best and not everyone's eyes are as critical and judgemental as mine.

There are a lot of different brand Chinese scopes $1200 and under that I am going to replace with the Alpha6 and JSAR.
