The buy three get one free scheme is manipulative. I will always buy from someone selling them straight up at a lower price like trenier just to avoid feeding into the ridiculous price inflation at pyramyd and the like. I avoid the big big mega vendors if it all possible.

@MrP When some people shop around for things pertaining to their hobbies, they usually want quality and the best deals. Even if that means doing a little math. If a sale price is not actually reflecting significant savings or the best price then places like the AGN forums are great for us to put our heads together and figure out where to find suitable bargains.

I finally saw that yesterday. Strange to have that deal in a rotating banner on the Home Screen, but not on the pages where people shop for ammo (unless I missed something). Decent shop, but their website could be more user friendly and their listings lack detailed descriptions at times.

Yeah their website is terrible, I’ve mentioned this to John’s wife. But it really seems like he’s in it for the love of the hobby and isn’t so concerned about making $$$

I love these GTO pellets. In my hot rodded Marauder they go supersonic with a crack that echos down range and despite that are still accurate at 25 yards. Beyond that distance they go wonky. But if I dial the power back they are good out to about 50 yards. Beyond that they are so light they just fall out of the air.

And trenier has the wee ones, .177, 200 in a tin for $13.99. I just received a few tins. Of the unleaded pellets, they usually shoot the best.

Yes, of course I understand the idea of buying in bulk. I’m just talking about the MO of marking things way up and then offering so-called discounts. That’s not the same as offering a fair price with discounts for buying in significant volume.
