I have several other Hawke scopes and have been satisfied with the performance of all and I expect this model to be similar (you never know). Hawke scopes are not necessarily the best but far from the worst IMO and more than adequate for air rifle use. For anyone interested in something in that price range, another brand from which I have had excellent service is Primary Arms. Prices are good, function is solid, and glass is clear.
