Daystate's new .308?

Frank Mendola AKA ColdKing has one of these. Say's it's a joint venture between Beaumont and Daystate. I believe this would make his 4th Beaumont? He flat out loves these Netherland rifles. Maybe he will chime in?

Hey Guys
yes indeed the rifle is a Beaumont. -two were commissioned by Tony Belous of Daystate -to be built for the Extreme event.
if you look closely at the front of the breech block you’ll notice the Beaumont insignia-
Alfred Devri the Builder Of the Beaumont line has told me that there are no plans to make more for Daystate ?
but I’d say- never say never ...
the rifle has a re designed trigger and bolt action - the trigger breaks smooth as glass at around 2ozs
and the cocking is also less effort - with a stainless steel barrel and superb Laminate stock -Alfred also tells me that the internals have been modified for increased pressures -
Alfred tells me that the rifles were slugged for the 127 flat nose double ring bullets -
‘I haven’t taken the rifle out past 100 yards yet - and it might benifit from spitzer style bullets
but the pressures are also critical - around 250 bar gives you several accurate shots but I’d top it off after every shot -
the rifle is capable of one ragged hole groups at the 100 yard mark !
I might be taking this rifle to an event that shoots 200 meter silhouette rimfire matches - maybe they’ll love the competition against a BB gun?😬
and Yup Jimmy this is number 4 😬
I really love the workmanship of them
Sent my .223 off to Allen Zasadney for some tweaking -hectells me it’s one of the most accurate rifles he’s ever shot! I asked him if I could quote him on that !
He said by all means
kind Regards

The man himself (Alfred de Vries, owner of Beaumont):

Had a little chat with him last sunday on one of our 100 meter matches. It indeed is his own design, the stock comes from a collaboration with a dutch stock manufacturer (forgot the name) but the rest is fabricated by himself.

If you want an airgun that's alive, try one of his .45 calibers :D These things produce quite some movement for an airgun. Here's a small clip of me shooting one @ about 750 fpe/1000 joules: http://www.thepictaram.club/share/BZUGeZ8BWdi

@powermonger, they are in production, you can order them at the Beaumont Airguns website. It'll be without the daystate logo but the rest is the same or can be made the same I guess. But like Coldking said, be ready for about a 6K total price tag.

@Coldking destruction is what those things are made for :p But the .45 can be immensely accurate too. I've shot a 3 centimeter 5 shot group at 100 meters with the .45 from my short clip. Too bad these things drain a 10 liter 300 bar cylinder down to 200 bar within 75 shots :p

I gas my tanks up to 5K - they settle in at 4500Psi - but shooting at 3900psi really gets you down quickly !
The .458 caliber bullets are real hammers! Shooting out at around 740 ftlbs energy
more than enough to take most American critters out to 100 yards -
possibly much farther with critical shot placement -
of course shot placement should always be to effect a quick and humane kill
But place your orders - Beaumont is ready to sell em !
