No that’s definitely a Daystate England gun, just look at the safety catch, you can’t mistake that red safety.

I don't know but it shares the safety end caps that the Regal and Air Wolf line uses. Interesting anyway.

Look up Beaumont air rifles and you'll be unsure what it is...they use the same safety and the breech looks like a Beaumont as well...

This indeed is a Beaumont, you can see it by the logo on the left of the breechblock. Beaumont started with modifying Daystate rifles for slug shooting about a decade of ago. The stock underneath the gun is the new stock that Beaumont is selling as an option for their rifles. Because Beaumont is made on the platform/looks as a Daystate it's easy to etch their name onto it. It might be possible that Daystate will start selling these on their name (I have absolutely no info on this, this is just a speculation!!!) but be prepared for the price tag of these rifles. Over here (the Netherlands, the origin country of Beaumont rifles) these rifles cost already 4000+ USD for the base rifles (which is with a CS stock) and the price goes up to 6000 USD depending on the options.

Mike, curious where do you think Daystate is going with this .308 ? The wolverine is a 30 cal and 100 FPE. Are they looking at shooting more slugs/bullets with more power ?
Seems a bit odd. i was thinking of maybe getting a Wolverine 30 cal at some point.

These rifles are made for slug/lead bullet shooting. In the Netherlands most of the Beaumont shooters use 140 or 160 grain slugs/ lead bullets at a speed of in between 260 to 300 m/s. This gives about 250 to 350 FPE

Yea, thats kind of the thought. Seems like daystate would be bringing a very low shot count rifle to the mix. I like the idea of a long distance shooter. Always had issues with those big bore low shot count guns, never seem to have enough air for shooting.

These guns are made to do one shot per fill at full speed and one or two shots extra at a lower speeds. We're only allowed to use them for target shooting in the Netherlands and we use them tethered to the tank because that's the only way to shoot decent groups on paper. Some even shoot sub MOA groups with their self-made casted bullets.
Airguns are just very inefficient for slug shooting unless you accept one really decent shot per fill and carrying a tank everywhere you go.
