Daystate Wolverine 2 HP .22

Let me say i am new to air rifles and due some hunting law changes in my state, I purchased my first. After tons of research, I went with the Daystate HP in .22

There is not much info or reviews on the HP so I will give you some numbers. With JSB Beast .22 at 34 grains it shoots 930-945 for about 20 shots. JSB Monster .22 at 1050.

I will be shooting only the Beast pellets, think they should group well. So far at 13 yards indoors, they are same hole. 25 Yards dime size. I have not done any more longer range

yet. I have a Hawke sidewinder 30mm 8-32-56 scope with daystate rings. I also bit the bullet and got a 100cu/ft Omega tank and Omega 4500 psi super charger.

The gun is flawless, solid , and very quiet. It is a long gun, but that does not bother me. I only thing i don't like is i wish i would have tried the daystate medium height rings. My

scope is still about 3/8 from shroud and would like to have it closer. I feel as though I can't press my cheek against stock to shoot, as the scope is so high. I did move the scope

back to allow me to use the higher comb of stock and it seems to be more comfortable.

My best friend has the same gun. I will tell you this with 18.1 JSBs it is a tack driver out to 100 yards. We routinely take birds at that range and after owning several MRODs it is quiter as well. My only wish would be an adjustable check piece. You will enjoy the gun for sure and don't be afraid to stretch it's legs. My buddy has a 4-16 power scope as well so that 8-32 you have should make for some long range fun.

Hookster- I have only shot a couple 18.1's thew mine in doors at 13 yards. They are pretty loud compared to the 34's. Huge difference. They are also not the same hole at that distance out my my gun and 34's are.

Would love to here more of anyone that has this gun or more experience than me. I just installed and Atlas bipod. Removed stock and installed grommets from the inside. I was afraid there would not be enough wood material to make it secure. It worked very well. Rock solid mount.

I have been filling to 240 bar. I see the gun comes with its own fitting. The fitting looks to have a bleeder or damper inside. Is that so someone does not push air into tank too quickly? I have been using the one that came on my Omega tank and opening very slowly to fill.

Should I put the other connector on my Omega line?

The 22 cal HP Wolverine is a fine gun you did well by purchasing that gun ,
your right there is not a lot of information out there on that gun .

I have a Daystate 303 that I converted to 22 cal it started with a 22 cal Daystate barrel
but now it has a SPA M-10 barrel installed and shooting a 33 grain hollow point at 950 FPS
thats 66 foot pounds of energy . Just last week I had the gun out and was dropping
pigions and GS most were at 100 yards or more , that gun hits with some real authority for 22 cal .
