My Daystate Super Leggero arrived today and?? Wow what a solid machine. Having watched the video at AOA at least four times. I simply added oil. Plugged it in and got to filling my 60 minute SCBA from 3000 to 4500 PSI in 22 minutes. Excluding a one minute warm up and one minute to equalize pressure in the fill hose. It is a compact and elegant piece of equipment. I am but a casual plinking/pesting type of shooter. So am sure this compressor is overkill for my needs. That written, I wanted a no hassle, reliable, trustworthy, HPA compressor. Love how easy it is to move around and it is quiet enough to use indoors
Am aware of the other, adequate HPA compressors for sale. I just want my “second” HPA compressor to be my last. I believe if I chose to “gasp!” get out of air gunning I could easily sell this beastie because its built for the long haul. I will post up my user impressions over time. My justification on the price? Heck, two of my PCPs each costs as much, once kitted out. Then I add my other two PCPs and it was a no brainer for me. Simply spending the same amount on a quality HPA became relative…
I suspected that my four PCPs and two SCBAs will be taking on HP “airs” going forward… Airguns of Arizona was simply stellar to deal with and they back the product all the way. That and the fact, that
Coltri and
Daystate are well known established manufacturers of fine equipment. Simply seal the deal for me… Now hopefully my wife will let me live to enjoy it…
