DayState Stock

Made respect for wanting to keep it like new. However just shoot and enjoy it. Scratches happen.

I remember somebody telling me when I first started to walk out of the store and drop it on the ground. Then go to the range and enjoy the heck out of it. 😉

Not sure I took that advice literally, but I got the point and began to enjoy shooting the new gun just that much more.

Enjoy that fine rifle!

Never thought about that Motorhead....Good point!!

Very true they are be meant to enjoy just would hate to see my Red Wolf or Blue Safari end up demolished from the wet weather etc. we have up here in the Pacific Northwest.

My Walnut stock versions not as big of a deal.....

Eeh might give it a shot tomorrow and see how it goes....Taking care of some rabbits at the cabin and was planning on the FX trio (Impact, Crown, Wildcat) but getting a bit tired of FX....

Thanks all for your input!! Much appreciated!!

Ha, I asked!! NOT kidding!!

She has been sewing masks etc. and figured why not!

She did find some weather proof fabric (almost like nylon they make rain jackets out of).....

She said she would give it a try and I called it the DayState element blocking stock guard. Figure if it was for a DayState it should have a long technical name and cost no less than $500.00!!

I agree!!

I heard from another member that those stocks ALONE cost well over a grand.....

I tried a bit of non marking tape on a small section of stock and it came off clean with no residue so might go that route on one of my walnut stocks to just see how it holds up...Another member gave me the idea so I can't take credit but seems to work!!!

Hello Mike

Hope you are well

Make 3 for me !o!

They should go for at least $625 on eBay

While waiting for your first DEBSG to be hand crafted, why not put a coat of Renaissance Wax on the stock (metal parts too for that matter).

The stuff is fantastic

They have a protective clear vinyl that they apply to the hood area's of cars and trucks to keep them from getting damaged from small stones etc. while driving. Even scuffs. You can peel it clean off, and leaves no residue. So if you don't care about having the Synthetic stock, you could either wrap it with the clear, or pick a color, and know what is under the film is well protected.

Some of you out there may already have had experience with this material on your cars, and may not have even known it was on to begin with.
