New to the sport of ft. Would a Renegade be a good choice for hunter class? It seems to be accurate enough from what I have seen.

For starters bullpups aren't as stable from a bipod as a long gun. Otherwise any gun in that price range should be more than reasonable for FT. If you haven't been to a match I suggest going and trying out a few different guns.
