Daystate Regal

I was just telling someone that I never shoot it, I have had it since early August and have less than 75 shots thru it. After the first chrony session I only pulled it out to shoot a squirrel or to fire a couple pellets to make sure it is sighted in ( haven't touched the scope adjustments since mounting ). So today I thought I would check the POA/POI.

40yds, JSB 18.1gr straight out of the tin. 4 or 5 shots, UPS set my dogs off and I lost count. 0.75" paster

I would love to buy a .177 12 fpe model but the dealer couldn't tell me if the 12 fpe models have the anti-tamper device.

Great guns. I sold mine because it wasn't getting used but I will probably buy another Daystate at some point. They left a good impression with me. Superb build quality and finish plus their stocks are delicious.

I just wish they did a better job explaining the difference with all their models and calibers. E.g. What is the difference between the Air Ranger and the Wolverine other than the quality of the wood in the stock? And, for the calibers that don't have the sling shot hammer, why not? And what do they use instead? Etc....

The Wolverine uses a completely different receiver, it is one piece which makes it more sturdy than the two piece receiver used on the Ranger. The Ranger and Regal are going to eventually be phased out.

It is amazing to get 31 shots at 29 fpe within a 17 fps spread from a tiny 168cc air tube. The Daystate valving has to be the best out of the many ( too many ) PCPs I have owned.

ETA: For the 32 shots it only took 48 strokes of the Hill MK3 pump to fill back to 200 bar.

Hi mp44
If it is anti tamper ,i believe you could buy the anti tamper tool bits to take out the anti tamper screws from.daystate themselves,if needed as i live in the uk could find out for you and order and post one if needed

Thanks for the offer but I wouldn't go thru that much trouble. I could get a FAC version and get a restricted transfer port or I might just purchase an FX Streamline and use medium power
