Daystate Regal XL .25

Thanks for the info! Yeah I wasn't sure if I wanted a .25 or not but couldn't pass up the deal. I don't need alot of power or shots from it actually and plan on detuning it to start around 800fps for the bell curve. Plan on being a close range hunter when I retrieve sage rats from the field when hunting with my RAW .30 which I shoot out the back of my pickup until I can get a portable shooting table. So will be an off hand close range shooter and I like the .25 for bigger holes. I'm glad you like your .22!

Should be great for your intended purpose. Not sure if the 25 has the slingshot hammer or not, but shouldn't be hard to dial down with the hammer spring. There easy to work on. Daystate likes a short stiff hammer spring, sometimes there is a spacer in there you can shorten or just remove to bring it down some. Let us know how she's working for you when you get it.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it does have the slingshot hammer. I'm glad to hear there not hard to work on and like a short stiff spring. I've tuned many a Mrod but this is my first Daystate I'll be getting my hands on. The previous owner has sent me all his stuff and info on this gun. Tons of tuning info and had his machining friend make some different spacers for it for lowering the power so looks like I should be getting everything I need to really dial it in.
