Daystate Regal XL .22 Scope Recommendation

Just received my XL in LH, and was planning on mounting my Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 AO however, there is insufficient eye relief to acquire full view. The distance from the saddle/turret to the objective bell is to short 1.6” any recommendations for a new scope? I have the a
Aztec 3-18x50 on my FX400 and really like it. Your thoughts on an Aztec on the Regal XL.

I have a SWFA Fixed 10X on my Huntsman and really like it. Affordable, clear and turrets tracks well.

The base XL was 1099. They upcharged $100. for LH. The downside was it took 4 months to get it from the manufacturer
