Tuning Daystate Redwolf GCU board crimp terminal ????????????

Hey everyone.

just wondering if any Redwolf owners on here with a electronic/engineering backgroung might know what type of crimp is used in the little white connectors that are on the Redwolfs GCU board? as i have managed to break one of the wires and would like to re-crimp it with a replacement crimp.

I have a few at home I believe. I want to say they are a JST style connector. Just need to find the correct size.

Get a picture of the one you are talking about so we know which one you are talking about.

Hi woogie_man.

I just been told by someone elsewhere online that they are indeed jst connectors and i quote" JST zh 1.5mm pitch female connectors" ,does that help ?.

Im not sure what the pin / crimp is though, i will send you a picture asap.

that doesn’t look like jst, just usually has 2 grooves on the long side

Those are jst connectors, just in the mini size.

Thanks , i have just ordered a kit of JST ZH 1.5MM PITCH connectors,housings and crimps from ebay.

You did get the "mini" size I hope.

I know some of the kits you can get will also have a crimper for the metal bits. I have gone without one for quite some time, and have just soldered the metal tabs onto the end of the wire. Then bend the wings over.

I did some research and found that the " ZH" JST connectors are the lowest profile wire to board type of connectors , i only paid £10 for a small assorted pack off ebay so if they are wrong i wont sweat it to much, hopefully they work ok though.
