View attachment RW photos.1606100665.pdf Here is a photo of my Red Wolf Standard power .177 with Hawke Sidewinder 6-24x56 scope and Huggett moderator. Also, some 39 shot groups(3 magazines each target) to test some pellets at 13 yards on Low setting. This gun is scary accurate. I have not adjusted the trigger since it came with a pull weight of 2.8 ounces from the factory. It is sublime.
To note what is new with GCU2 the battery is 11.1V vs 8.x and is 4 wire instead of 3. The older GCU1 had High, Mid & Low power as does GCU2. The older GCU1 counted a magazine down from 10. The newer GCU counts down from 5,7,8,10,11 &13 or OFF for single shot tray use. This takes advantage of the new 13 round self-indexing magazine. The newer magazine will allow you to double load if you are not careful. There is now a Sleep Timer before the rifle powers down. This can now be set to 15 mins, 30 mins, 4 hours and always on. This can shorten your battery life depending what setting you are on. There is now a Display Timer for the back light of the LCD display. This can be to 15 seconds, always on, or OFF. When the safety is ON SAFE, the display light will always go off after 20 seconds. There is now a shot counter that will count all the shots taken until you reset it. The gun with GCU1 or GCU2 still tells you of a Low Battery and Low Pressure when you need to fill the tank with air. The gun still pulses 4 times when your magazine is empty, if you have the magazine counter function On.
My chronographed numbers using JSB Exact Heavies 10.34gr. are 912 fps on High, 836 fps on Med and 746 fps on Low. (19.1 fpe, 16.05 fpe, 12.8 fpe)
This information is old hat to many of you but I had to do a lot of searching and reading before I got all of this figured out. Thanks a lot to Joe Brancato for getting me the perfect gun and to new friend Jay Tung for all his help.
