My brother has a Daystate pulsar and asked me if its ok to leave batteries in the rifle for long periods of time? As I haven't got a clue, I thought I'd ask you guys, any ideas?
Ive not heard about anyone taking them out, im sure there is still some unsold pulsar's from the first batch on the shelves somewhere without any problems it would probably do more harm than good to the electronics software / firmware if he took them out.
Leave the batterys in. Unless you use some cheap replacements, quality batterys do not leak these days. In any case the battery pack is external to the electronics and the housing is an inexpensive and commercialy available unit.
