Daystate Pulsar .22 HP power level

Just a quick question about the last of the High Power Pulsar .22s. What is the power level of these HP Pulsars? I was told the last ones had the internals of the most recent Red Wolf giving them a maximum of 65 FPE.

Is this correct or is 50 FPE the maximum for the Pulsar HP .22?

I know the .22 HP is just about impossible to find at this point (and may be actually impossible) but I am curious about the power level.

Easy way to tell is if they still take the AA batteries then it's the older generation and if it's the rechargeable battery pack then it's the new generation however the NEW 22 Pulsar HP with rechargeable battery packs says "55fpe" outside of the box.

No news whether or not the Pulsars are discontinued (not even AOA knows so best to ask Daystate UK) however the last AoA order came in and all the new Pulsar HPs SOLD OUT already. They have ONE synthetic 22 HP left old stock as of right now.

Thanks Odoyle - the reason I ask is that I just this morning received my new Pulsar HP Gray Laminate .22 that I had ordered from AoA. Somewhere along the way, someone (and I don't remember who) told me the newest were 65 FPE. However, I just spoke with a salesperson and a technician at AoA and they didn't know anything about that. So, I have an email out to Daystate UK. What I suspect is I got some bad info about the 65 FPE in the Pulsar. That wouldn't have influenced my decision one way or another; I just want to be sure I got what I meant to get in the first place.

The AoA tech I spoke with suggested I call back on Monday and speak with Darren (sp?) who could answer questions like that. I hope to hear from Daystate UK early next week too and get, hopefully, a straight answer about the power. 50 FPE from a .22 bullpup is pretty impressive anyway to be honest.

Daystate UK would be the horse's mouth to get the straight info from but Darren is also pretty smart too over at AoA.

I have both AA synthetic and rechargeable new Saxon models both in HP in only in 25 caliber. Only my 177 Saxon is the other HP and the rest are 177 and a couple of 22 standards. I do have a pair of 22 RW HPs but wouldn't help in this situation since I never felt a need for a 22 Pulsar HP because of this unless I found one SPECIFICALLY with the forest laminate stock (that specific stock is all that I am missing) and passed on 25 non HPs with that stock IMHO so whats the use?
