Been looking at rifles on AOA and noticed a steep increase in price of Daystate and Brocock Rifles. Anyone have any idea as to why?

This was brought up about a week or two ago. AoA had to increase prices due to increased production and shipping costs.

Yeah - the updated prices really make you question if you want that airgun. I bought a used RW from AoA for $1600 and thought it was an amazing deal when they were $2400. Now being $2900 I really feel like I got a 1/2 price deal.

I have a pre-order price/invoice of $2995 for the Delta wolf from AoA. Been on the list since April. Don't know if I still get it at that price when it comes in, or I pay the increase?

If they made you pay more after you basically "secured" the gun via preorder that probably would be bad for business lol.

I looked at a standard Redwolf and was the same as what the Hp version was 3-4 mo. ago! NO THANK YOU!

Price increase like that can result in less sales if the increase is not across the board, because people will find the best price available.

Good if your selling used guns. I wouldn’t mind paying the price but paying the price and then waiting six months seems a bit harsh to me. BUT it’s always been that way. Back in the 80’s I remember buying an Anschutz rifle and paying what at the time was a princely sum and waiting to get it. Not as long however . Should have bought more of them . Hey it’s only money the time is what you can’t make more of. You can’t go off half cocked but if you want a DW order it. I’d be on the list but I don’t care much for bull pup style weapons

There seemed to be an interim period (about a week) after the initial AGN post where some other Daystate dealers were still showing the old prices on their in-stock inventory.
That difference has now gone away and all appear to be asking the same prices now.

There can only be two reasons:
a) Cost from England manufacturer to AoA increased (price, shipment, taxes, etc.); or
b) AoA thinks that no matter what the price is, the PCP fans will remain buying those rifles.

Do you guys think that the exchange rate between British Pound Sterling and U.S. Dollar factors into the equation of the cost of doing business (importing foreign goods) trickling down to consumers?
