Well figuring that it would be good to have a backup ( cause the nomad 2 i had for a backup sat for almost a yr and now wont work either) i ordered the 100 hr repair kit for the ec 3000 that has 15 hrs and doesn’t work and it only cost me $198.00 so if it doesn’t work after installing it i guess ill have a new motor for a buffer?

It is a totally self-contained unit .
Be careful there are many versions, the cheap models (140.00) are NOT true chillers they are just water recirculating units, which is fine if you live up north where temps are mild. Here in Texas in August they are useless.
The unit i am linking is a true chiller that uses R-410a and is temperature adjustable
Super easy set up , just run your silicone lines to the inlet and outlet, set temperature and let'er dig.
