Daystate Moderator?

They're on there tight, maybe even glued or using some type of loctite. I got mine off with a bit of struggle. The barrel fits inside the moderator a short distance, perhaps an inch or inch and a half so that's a bit unusual. After seeing that, I decided to just use the factory moderator which is adequate.

I used a heat gun to remove mine. I had to get it really hot and wear thick leather gloves to hold it.
No damage to the finish at all. I believe the moderator directs some of the expanding air back into the shroud, that is why it overlaps.

Mine unscrewed easily like a regular moderator. Either you get lucky or you don't. If you haven't purchased one yet, ask your dealer if they could find one with minimal thread locker or epoxy. It doesn't hurt to ask.

The dealer I used. Broke the factory Moderator when removing to put on another. I still wonder why I didn't demand they replace the one they broke.
