Daystate Daystate Mk3 firing valve

I am currently rebuilding an old Daystate Mk3 and the firing valve has seen better days. It appears to have been skimmed in a lathe and the diameter reduced, presumably to clean up damage.
Do any members know the correct diameter as from the factory? I am considering making a replacement from scratch if too much metal has been removed.
