I seldom post on here but I feel the need to send this in. I originally bought this rifle new back in ‘96 it shoots JSB 15.89 at 875fps from its sweet spot of 2700 psi and its still the benchmark for what I measure the other airguns I have purchased since This is NOT a cherrypicked target this is the first 5 shots from a charge . What an awesome sport and hobby we have here. BTW 5 shots that made a hole not 1 hole in my book. Thanks

Beautiful gun!

Is that scope a 6-24x40 Bushnell Elite?

Had one like it a long time ago.

It was my 1st Elite among 4.

Good glass but the elevation was too limited I had to shim the rear.

And yes and on another note, there is still a BAM 50/51 in Canada for around $150USD to $170USD.

Regarding the Elite scope again, I have seen a store still selling it--I thought they were long gone, lol!

Yes Darkhorse you nailed its the Bushnell 4200, I am using no limit rings because of that very reason, (no MOA built into rails then) Only scope I have ever had on this rifle. Can’t beat the clarity of it in my opinion.

Guys I will say this, I spent a lot of money on this in ‘96 and I got what I paid for... a very accurate rifle that has brought me so much joy over the years, and so many other people are one and done with their purchases because other manufacturers cut corners and create sub par equipment. Sad but true. That’s why forums such as this are so Very important to hold said manufacturers feet to the fire for raping the public and stealing the joy that people could have in this outstanding sport we have.

There is a Daystate Harrier SE/Special Edition (silver tube and barrel with a Gary Cane walnut stock) in the Canadian Airgun Forum being sold for $525CAD + shipping.

I hope the link works:

$525CAD is just $375USD 👌

Not too sure, too, if the seller ships to the US.

That's a pretty good entry level Daystate. Had a 22 just like that one purchased from Marty Macnaughton SP? forgot his company name it's been a while DaveGs buddy that shot very well traded it why I have no idea till today stupid move maybe but I think remembering back it shot slow like a 22 Fortitude and only 25 shots being the reason and my CR94 shot better with a better trigger but that's apples to oranges. I bought a 177 with proven FT winning pedigree after that. Still have the 177. Wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for its history (PROVEN PEDIGREE IS GOOD) worth collecting IMHO. Yo!
