Daystate Mark MK3 accuracy issues

So I just got this gun back from Airgun’s of Arizona and everything tested out OK other than solder joint was bad and they fixed it. Before that I had it resealed. Batteries worked and all seals are good. But now that the gun is back I can’t get it to group at all. The gun is used but new to me. I’ve tried different types of pellets and when I refill the gun the POI drops an inch and left. It may be that the pellets are hitting the LDC on the front. So I am taking the 5 small grub Allen screws out and the last one the Allen wrench snaps with barley any pressure and the tip is stuck in the hole of the Allen screw. I am sick of messing with this gun. So who can I send it to get it accurate?

Thanks,

I am so frustrated with this gun....

Mk 3's can be tricky in finding whats best to extract there accuracy potential. ( version dependent )

Early 3's have a receiver held down to air tube via 4 screws ( 2 in loading tray area & 2 at rear by cocking bolt ) These versions suffered FLEX forward of loading area requiring the use of a barrel band. Later version 3's along with Mk-4's used an extra 2 screws in the forward section of receiver that straddle barrel giving MUCH GREATER support and a lot less barrel / forward receiver flex. These version one can OMIT the barrel band free floating the barrel and gain accuracy.

Now that said & back to original question & an FYI ....

NEVER use ball end allen wrenches to break a screw loose or tighten it !! .... there primary use is spinning a screw in or out out from an off center angle.

That broken ball end stuck in there .... bummer that's going to be troublesome unless it will fall out or magnet will suck it out. Can't drill the screw out with it in there either.

Where in the country are you ?

It’s probably best just to send it back to Air guns of Arizona. I’m going to have so much money into this gun by the time I’m done with it 🤮

Its a beautiful gun one I have “always” wanted but if its not accurate and can’t compare to my other PCPs it’s of no use.

I know it’s got a good lother Walther barrel in it so there is hope yet.
