Daystate-If your on the fence?

AOA replaced mine for no cost under warranty. The real issue is that it will happen again if I continue to use the magazine. So I have spent around $4000 for two single shot rifles.

Daystate says it is not a problem and so they are not working on a solution. Metal to metal contact causing physical damage to your gun is not a problem according to Daystate, it's just cosmetic. As for me. if I had I known about the magazine problem, I would never have bought a Daystate.

There's a guy from Croatia who 3D prints magazine's... And his daystate mags dont cause the probe damage as it cycles via buil in spring.. They are superb his website is called CARM.... ONLY £29 posted dont know what that is in dollars but well worth it

Not to rain on anyone's parade but Daystate buyers should be aware of a flaw which the manufacturer has not addressed. Most guns with the anti-double load feature will suffer pellet probe damage when using the magazine. Daystate says the metal to metal contact is only cosmetic, but in my case and others, it does seem to affect the accuracy. The amount of damage varies from gun to gun. My Renegade's damage is shown below before AOA replaced the probe. Unfortunately, the damage will reoccur if I use the magazine. Actuator pin breakage can also result from the lever strike.

My Pulsar HP also has damage, though less severe then the Renegade at this point and the actuator pin has broken once.

Bottom line, check your pellet probe for damage while in warranty.

Is there a way to relieve the pivoting "arm" where it contacts the probe or otherwise limit it's movement to prevent such damage going forward?

You could also get the new style Daystate magazine. AoA should have them. They won't harm your gun in any way like the style you have now. You lose your anti double feed feature but that shouldn't be a huge deal. They are $99.
