Daystate Huntsman Regal XL magazine not indexing.

Yesterday, I shot about 30 pellets out of my Daystate Huntsman Regal XL .22 and about 4 out of 30 did not index to the next pellet. I know that I cocked it because it would fire on an empty chamber. I also could not feel the pellet enter the chamber as I moved the bolt forward. Any suggestions on a fix?

I think they use a spring. You may need to disassemble it and either clean it/lube it? and see if that does it, or get you another spring. I would try that first. They are damn proud of them mags. Good luck.

Small metal tab on the bottom moves when you pull the bolt back which indexes it to next pellet.. you either have dirt or a burr and it is sticking up. Mine was doing the same thing right out of the box and it had a burr. There is a video on u tube that shows how to tear it apart and put it back together. You are going to have to take it apart and see what is wrong. I filed the burr off mine and it has worked perfectly since.

i read somewhere that daystates jam when you dont hold the gun perfectly horizontally, lol
especially when you point the front up
then bits of pellet will jam the mechanism. can be a pain to get the bits out
may not be the issue with your model though.

It's funny you mentioned that. I was shooting up into a tree anywhere from 50° to 80°. I'll look into disassembling the mag. Thanks guys.

you may have to disasseble the gun not the mag, but good luck hopefully it is the mag only.
