Hi every one, I have a gorgeous Daystate Harrier SE in .177 cal. The question is, can it be regulated? And how? 🤙🤘

They CAN, but there would be no going back and the benefits would be minimal imho.
The regs are inserted into the tube and a breather hole drilled. They take air volume from the tube and after drilling, you would not be able to use that tube without a collar or reg inside..
The only other alternative I know of would be cutting and threading the tube to use one of the CR series type regs.
These can be tuned pretty well so what would the gain be For installing a reg?
In addition , you're adding a likey point of failure to an incredibly reliable rifle.

Just my thoughts.
Nice rifle , btw!

Yes it can ... won't be a drop in job tho ... Needs an In tube reg ( huma universal type ) will need a plenum spacer and a vent hole drilled in tube as well.
Then the hammer requires a custom one of MUCH less weight, different spring rate on poppet & hammer. Then the tuning and setting of reg pressure to be in balance with hammers weight & spring rates.

It is true that these early unregulated rifles could shoot a flat string. However, that shot string was between a limited pressure range.

The Lane reg has a built in plenum spacer, an included drill bit to make the breather hole, and an install guide. It’s an easy task imo. YMMV

While you can’t undo the breather hole if you want to go back to unregulated; You can replace the reg with an aluminum tube (with two o-rings on each end).
