Buying a Daystate Red Wolf Safari but I hear it doesn't come with a case. Where can I buy a Daystate Gun case in the U.S.

I just got a new Red Wolf as well. I ended up getting a Pelican Vault for when I travel somewhere with it. You can customize the interior to your liking and the 52 inch version is big enough (and wide enough) to comfortably fit the Red Wolf in there with the charger, silencer, pellets, accessories box, etc. The Vault is heavy and expensive ($200) but - with the rifle, scope, etc. you have over $3,000 invested so a a very robust case is warrantied.
I have a Daystate case for my Pulsar and its a good case. But, that Vault - well, the name says it all.

Those look pretty nice 5thumbs. If you do a search on the AOA site for "Daystate case" you get nothing.

They do look nice and I believe they came with the limited edition redwolf, but ordering them is tricky in the US. I ordered one when I got my redwolf and a few wes later the order was cancelled by them! I eventually forgot about getting a case. Anyhow, with the longer Redwolfs, they may not fit and especially not with the moderator. Your Vault solution sounds better.

I still have to take the DonnyFL Shogun off to fit it in the Vault. But I think you could throw that thing out of the back of a truck and the contents would still be OK. Truth is I won't be carting the Red Wolf around very much but when I do I don't want to have to worry about the case its in.
I agree about the special edition Red Wolf case. I saw a review by Andy's Airgun Review when the Red Wolf first came out and the Serie Rosso version came with a red hard case. It was just egg crate foam on the inside (no compartments) but it was a sharp looking case.
I spent some time cutting out custom shapes for mine as recommended in the Vault documentation. I cut it so that if the case is sitting on its edge the scope isn't on the bottom. I've seen some custom cases built with the scope on the "bottom" of the case and it just bothered me. Here's how it turned out.

That is a nice case and you did an awesome job with the foam customization. The stock on your RW is gorgeous, what scope do you use/ And how about that rail on the air tank. How do you like that, where did you get it and what bipod do you use. I shoot bench rest and on bags. Do you prefer the bipod?

Thanks 5thumbs! I bought the Red Wolf from another member here a couple of weeks ago. He had only had it for a couple of weeks himself but apparently had another one he was getting set up for competition so I was fortunate enough to snag it from him. Its a .25 high power. I use an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 FFP. Its my first first focal plane scope so there's a little bit of a learning curve. On low power you really can't make use of the markings but once you crank it up you sure can. It's nice for the holdover marks to stay the same no matter the magnification. I like the scope a bunch. I keep the extra sunshield on it just because I think it looks cool. And on a rifle as long as the RW with a Shogun on it the length of the scope sorta fits.
I got the air tank rail from Utah Airguns. Its a Saber Tactical product. I've seen them for sale at other places too. Since this is my first bottle gun I didn't know if it would put any undue stress on the bottle or connection so I asked around. AOA and Daystate said to not use it because it would hurt accuracy (which made no sense to me) and they don't sell it. So I asked the techs at Utah Airguns about it. The guy I talked to said there was a feud between Daystate and FX. He allowed as how Saber Tactical was seen as an FX accessory company so that's why the Daystate guys said not to use it. (Sounds like airgun politics to me.) He guaranteed it did no harm whatsoever and they had lots of customers who used it. Anyway - I kept asking around and noted that they are commonly sold in the UK for Daystates. I also asked Tomcat about it since he competes with the RW. He said as long as you get too rough it shouldn't be an issue.
Now with all that said -- I use a Caldwell Rock rest and rear rabbit ear bag for nearly all my bench shooting. The bottle rail is just there if I need it. I have an Atlas bipod and use that sometimes if I don't want to deal with the heavy Caldwell and rabbit ear bag. For precision shooting, I prefer the Caldwell over the bipod.
