Your question is a difficult one to answer fully. I have a 30 and a 22 with spare 25 cal kit on hand. As I've mentioned in previous posts , the possibilities are near infinite. On the 30 cal in factory mode, I've gotten 60 shots at 880 with 50.1s , with an es of 13. On the 25 and 22, I am more searching for accuracy nodes, so don't shoot full strings "just to see". That's a LOT of ammo. AoA has documented 90 shots with the 25 cal in factory mode with the 33.4s and an es of 15. We can get smaller extreme spreads on Advanced mode and different reg settings but it's a PROCESS. . We've been testing and trying to assemble some Advanced mode start points for future owners, but again.... the possibilities are near infinite.
Definitely a nice bullpup to shoot. Not sure many future owners will really tap into the capabilities it offers. There is a lot of power available for slugs and heavies, but it's not infinite. Mainly, it will be GREAT for changing pellets for different purposes or changing calibers. Consider that once you find a tune and store it, takes 20 seconds to put it BACK IN OPERATION, and it's as perfect as when you made it. Takes about 2 minutes to swap calibers if you have the full barrel kit.
I've created a tune for shooting Hobbies at 600 for offhand practice in my shop and in 20 seconds can switch to MRDs at 980 for long range work.
Hope this helps....

I have a .30 caliber DW. shooting JSB 44.75. looking for 900 FPS. in both factory & advanced modes. in many 16 shot chrony strings I get 60 - 70 FPS extreme spreads which on paper looks awful. the first couple shots are always very slow & low on target.. but, if I throw out the first 2 or 3 shots the extreme spread will drop into the teens 13 - 14 FPS and accuracy is good. is this typical with a Huma regulated rifle? have about 1200 pellets thru the gun now.
appreciate any & all feedback.

No that’s not typical of properly tuned regulated mechanical platforms, Huma or otherwise. The Delta Wolf has this issue. If the gun shuts down, for any length if time, the first shot or 2 will be lower than the rest. This is if it’s powered up after a few days or powered up after a few seconds of being off. You can avoid it by burning the first couple of shots and keeping the gun on.
I’ve observed this on several Delta Wolfs. 4 in all (3 in .25 and 1 in .30). Hopefully it may be rectified in an upcoming update but I’m not in the know on this or any upcoming Daystate advancements with the Delta Wolf. It Obviously isn’t right and needs to be addressed.
Hi, this is Delta Wolf .22 FAC using jsb redesign 25.39 and H&N Slug 25.39 0.218 both using Factory mode setting speed at 880fps

For first shot low velocity problem... try lowering the reg pressure to just above the minimum to achieve the velocity you want. Daystate has created tables for it that cover a wide range of power without readjusting the reg. These are not optimum for any given velocity. Setting the reg lower should make it less sensitive to small changes in reg pressure. I've reached out to Huma about the regs and they were VERY unhelpful. I suspect that the design to go from 90 to 190 bar in pressure leaves it a little less stable than their typical units. I've had them apart and can find no real problem in the design but haven't measured the range of movement which is pretty small in most others I've looked at .
Anyway.... on mine, the first shot to falling off reg is typically around a 10 es. First shot is not low, using the above tuning method. The factory mode is great for testing at different velocities but I don't think was intended for a set it and leave it scenario... especially for hunting or FT.
I hope this helps. Great things are in the works. I'm really excited to see them and hope it's not too long.

Do you experience low MV for the first few shots after a power-off ?
