DAYSTATE AW .25 REVIEW

Went to the range today with the following JSB's 25.39 gn pellets shot at 50 yards
.Straight from the tin
.Weighed 25.3-25.5
.washed and not
.Lubed
.Weighed 25.0-25.2
.Not washed or lubed
Because I don't have a CF tank I started each group at 197 bar down to 155. 40 shots, about 1.1 bar per round.
FPS velocity was consistently 856-845 after 100 rounds I quit.11FPS spread see very good so why bother. I did go down below 155 and it started loosing speed pretty quick, Like 836 FPS at 145 bar.
First up were straight out of the tin (after a warm up see below) 10 rounds all in the 2" circle, Well that sucked! second Mag, 1 1/4 better but!
Then the weighed pellets YA BABY! things are getting better! 3/4" or so Then the 25.0-25.02 YUP same thing! Lubed and cleaned HA a schosch better
During this process I had gotten to know the trigger better. So I went back to the weighed and washed 25.23 - 25.25 and focused on a still crosshair and a smooth break on the trigger. THAT WAS IT ! my first group covered by a dime!
So then I started over. A bit of breeze came up? but I have to say at this point? I thinks weighing the pellets is worth it. Cleaned? I can't see a difference. Lubed? Maybe? they did change my POI half a mil? I am going to a friend who runs a paint ball field later and am going to lube some more and sling them over the chrony to see what it shows.
What did I learn that may be of help to other nubes like me? (I know all the above don't offer much right?)
Trigger control, Trigger control, Trigger control.
I have not had this gun but a week so not a lot of time to get to know it.
One observation? after the gun has sat for a day or so it takes half a dozen rounds to warm up. I thought I noticed it the other day hunting, Then yesterday doing some chrony work? Sure enough first shot 814 then 823, 838 849 then 856. Any other AW owners notice this?

Thanks for reading!

After seeing your post, I went out to shoot mine.. average 823 fps jsb 25.39 spread 14 fps from 174 bars to 150 i did 27 shots, was a little windy here is a 7 shots group at 60 yards

Nice shooting Eddie!. A buddy has a series of dingers we were shooting this afternoon. On has from 4" down to 1 1/4. After I got the hold over down at 85 yards I was hitting it most of the time. We he shoots souped up Chinese springers. I talked him to trying it and he hit the little one after 5 or attempts! he was all jacked up and wouldn't soot another round.LOL.
I'll see if I can up load some pics

Funny you asked me that. I just re-read what was on here about that. I got to thinking, I really don't need any more power but if come with the board ok. What I am not sure of? Do you get a higher shot count by being able to use more air efficiently. In my .25 below about 148 or so the FPS drops pretty fast. I don't have a CF tank. I am still getting 50 shots consistently, So why spend another $350-$550.00 for 20 more shots per fill? If this gets me more shots per fill it makes more sense to go this direction. Plus you have a back up board if it goes TU.
Your thoughts?

No...... This will not help with shot count. It would drop your shot count if you turned up the power level, even though AW is the most efficient gun I own right now. If you are happy with the accuracy, why get one? My .22 tightened up a bit with a change in my FPS. When changing pellet weights 16 to18 I could get them closer to the speed I liked with a simple button/trigger push.
I was just curious if you planned on one after your interest earlier.
