DayState AirWolf CDT .22

Hi All,

Picked up another DayState today, CDT .22.

I have done some reading but was wondering if anyone has any real world numbers as far as power level vs. pellet weight?

What power level for 18.1 or 15.9 etc. I know it has 12 power levels and was just curious what pellets shoot best at what power level...

Those are the oldest Airwolfs 13-14 years old without the LCD screens and only have audible beeps to count as you press and hold the trigger. They have the most pellet friendly OLD Lothar Walter barrels.

Be sure the battery still good it's a very old electronic gun. It's a PRE-MCT.

I never shot JSBs in any of mine before only Brown box Crosman Premiers and Beeman Kodiaks back in the day they were the most accurate and what I preferred to shoot.

You have a chrony so you can experiment.

Hey YO,

Had it checked out top to bottom and a new carbon fiber bottle installed along with a new battery and the electronics all checked out so hopefully won't have any issues....

Will play around and see what it likes on what speed...Hoping someone might have some data points just to get an idea...

You can be the teacher this time around since there's probably not that many left being put to use still kicking nowdays IMO...

Even I parted ways with all of my CDTs and bought the updated MCTs to replace them all years and years ago and I normally just keep everything just to collect however not so in this rare instance.

You know, when I clicked on this thread, I was expecting to see some pics. Yeah, I could google it but I want to see yours. Even if it's an old gun. I still like looking at pics of older, discontinued airguns. Sorry, I have nothing to contribute to this thread but I just wanna see some pics. Just saying.

I still have one. Like Yo said the Beeman Kodiaks were the pellet in that gun. I’ll see if I still have my info around when I was working with the power settings. Unfortunately that was a long time ago.

I have a aiwolf mct, Has anyone found any good lithium alternatives? What is the maximum voltage that MCT CDT can handle, ?

8.4 to 9.6 V range is where you want to keep em powered up.

The Airwolf CDT didn't have the LCD screen and looked just like its mechanical Air Ranger brother with the manometer showing through a "U" cutout in the stock. The manometers looked different though.

The safey was the telltale sign it was the Electronic Airwolf CDT it was frosted clear to show illumination when the gun was powered "ON". The manometer face/label design was the other telltale...

Pictured its twin the cheaper mechanical Air Ranger...
