Daystate Daystate AirRifles

Want and need are absolutely different. I guess buying a BW or whatever else in the around or above 4K department means you get a little bit more than in the 2k department and it’s up to you to decide whether the amount of “more” is worth not doing whatever else you would otherwise do with the 2k difference. The two basic reasons why your answer might be “yes, it is” are either that the “little more” you get is so important to you or because you don’t have to refrain from doing anything else you want anyway cause 2k doesn’t matter to you. Both reasons are fine. Other people spend 5k on a nice dinner for two or 20k on a 1 week vacation. Perfectly fine, no judgment.

As for your initial question, I’ll buy a new rifle that I don’t “need” if it intrigues me enough I guess, definitely not because I need another one (I didn’t need the last 5 I guess… and if you ask my wife that number is even higher). Maybe it’s new tech I want to check out, maybe it’s a different form factor or maybe it’s making crazy power out of little air. Maybe something else that got me interested. It is definitely not because I believe that it’ll be more accurate compared to what I already have or because I have to fill a gap as to “tools”. In summary you could say it’s out of curiosity I guess.
I agree with everything that you said! great point! Thank you 😊👍🏼

It’s just super accurate and fun to shoot and it feels so good to shoot it. It’s designed and built very well. My .25 cal Wolverine R hp shoots lights out ! I’m always impressed with his accuracy
Well, I ended up going with a BRK Ghost in 177 due to a 2 month or so wait on the DW. I am very happy with the Ghost. Today I was out getting my scope dialed in and setting up shots for FT. Had a member at the local club help me, which was a god-send. Was super happy to see I could drop a 55 yard target on back to back shots with wind. The Ghost is fun and I am sure the DW would have been as well. Good luck!

Good choice - the ghost is a fine platform and very versatile!

You’re right, I’m just gonna shoot my favorites, we always go back to the ones we like, no need for brand new stuff right now, I just gotta remind myself that every time lol

So ........ lets see , a new Blackwolf is $3799.99 divided by tin of pellets = 18,995 tins Hmmm just sayin' 😊
and thats not counting buy3 get one free deal and they would pay shipping for that large of sale .

Or.....wait until that dream rifle shows up in the classifieds and save a significant amount of pellet money over new.
