Why buy a Black, Red, Blue or even a mangy wolf when this gun shoots as accurately or better than those? I've owned them all and this is now my favorite.

i can only think of one reason..... ok make that two reasons: A) a gentle shot cycle B) more efficient use of air so an increased shot count
I enjoy all my Daystates, even the mechanical ones. they all have their strengths and weaknesses - i just wish i could win the stock lottery like ya'll.

My rifle, a .177, gets what the manufacturers specs say- 160 shots per fill. Can any of these other rifles do that? Yes, strength and weaknesses, but at the end of the day, it's all about hitting the "X" ring.

I understand, maybe you're just ready for a change. I love DS rifles both mech and elec and have had a few of both. If I were going to just shoot, no tinkering, no changing, I'd definitely go DS. But I like to mess with airguns, I may want a soft shooting 177 today and a month from now Imight want to eradicate a groundhog or two with a 25 cal, so I like the FX Crown and Dream Tac.
I would LOVE to have a Black wolf and three barrels 177, 22&25, but I need both arms and legs. So if that's your fancy, I say go for it and enjoy the heck out of it.
My only admonition is that no matter how pretty and expensive it is, there's a lot cheaper guns that can easily match it. And that's an admonition to me as well.
