Daystate Air Wolf MCT Battery?

I have a 2nd hand Air Wolf. It has a homemade battery pack. Works fine but it has dropped from 100% to 66% in less than 100 shots/3 weeks so I think I am going to replace the battery.



Do I purchase a factory battery or have a high-quality battery pack made ( from Eneloops?)? Does anyone know of someone who makes the batteries? There was a poster on the old yellow that made them but the post is 7yrs old and no contact info.

I made my own,hot glue aaa cells together, took the pack to local batteries plus had them spot weld connectors. Solder wire connector from old pack to new tabs on pack. Done

Are they regular batteries or rechargeable AAAs? Can you post pictures plz?

Rechargeable, I used eneloops from amazon. The only pic I have is of the old pack before I started. It's a good idea to take pictures so you double check the proper battery arrangement and tab placement for guy at batteries plus.

Shrink wrap after assembly, which I also got from batteries plus

Yes thank you so it charges while still connected to the gun thats plugged in to the wall outlet like normal right? So no need to top up charge monthly like the old Airwolf batteries?

What's the total number of shots from to 100% to non functional gun? Sure am curious to know. 

If it's like 500 shots I wouldn't feel a need to replace it since you can just plug in anytime to recharge. 

Probably change it when it goes below 200 shots between charge. Unless you normally shoot that many rounds every day.

The Daystate Airwolf requires a once a month plug in charge regardless of use.

5th post down states he used 8 AAA. Does the Wolf use a different battery than the MK4?

Yes, it charges exactly the same way it did with original pack.

Are there options other than Batteries Plus? I went by there today and while they said they could do the work, they said they had to use their own batteries which were a no-name brand.

It's a shame they wouldn't do it for u, call around other batteries plus stores ,see if they would do it. Also may want to ask if they sold you the eneloops would it make a difference.
