Daystate 110V dying/ using to much ampage

I'm curious to know how this thread goes. I've been considering one of the Daystate 110V compressors. Sounds like it hasn't been the best of experiences for you.

what do you mean using ? the amp's it draws from your circuit ? or blowing the circuit ? might try opening the drain so no pressure on the motor @ start up, let it run a bit ,then close the valve .

just a guess, the drive belt has to much tension / this causes the motor to draw more Amps if you can slightly slacken this belt ? maybe that is the cause ? How do you know it is using to much ?

@ctshooter Have you looked at the Coltri MCH-3 compressors? Nuvair sells them out of Southern California. If I’m not mistaken I believe that a 110V Daystate compressor model was a variant of this Coltri.

LC-110 is pretty much a Coltri MCH3 LC (Low Consumption) EM (Electric Motor); hope that helps. Pretty much exactly the same minus the breathable air filtering stack.
