I have to train myself to look at the date before i start reading a 3 year old post again .
so i see a post a "few moments ago" Diana 48 . I open the post and it is dated 2018 . jump to latest and it is posted minutes ago , but everything up to that is dated 2018 ? IS this a case where someone reads an old post and answers it ? where did that old 2018 post come from ?

For sure I think because people do Not look at the date,they are interested in subject matter,btw I see this more often now.
Thing is ,many times I have already read said post years ago and not much has changed.
Then again I have said," this has been discussed many times already".=It's all good.
Search function comes in handy,people may need to use it more often.

Yeah, me too. When you think about it though, an airgun you bought a few years ago, is still relevant today, so why start another thread (if the old one is fitting your situation)?

Old information can still be relevent. Also, people now have many of the same questions folks had years ago.

Exactly! I would rather see someone pull up a thread from three or four years ago, than to create a new thread that's already there. Oh well, no big deal either way....isn't the end of the world.
