DAR Gen II .22 Leak

Looked up the BSA Buccaneer specs on Air Gun Depot and it lists it as having a 3,300 psi tube. Would that be workable using a hand pump?

Yes quite easily. My urban is 3300 as well. The urban shoots best if you don't even fill it all the way. I only fill mine to 2900 ish and it yields about 20 really good shots. I assume the buccaneer will sweet spot similarly and probably give more like 25 to 30 shots with the slightly bigger cylinder. I have a hatsan with the same size reservoir as that buccaneer and it isn't bad at all to pump. Then again maybe I'm different as I don't think the avenger is that difficult to go from 3 to 4k. I think that part of the fill goes pretty fast. Especially 3500 to 4000. Don't get why people say its impossible to pump beyond 3k. Not even slightly true and all I have is a Chinese pump. I'm like 5 10 and 183 lbs too.

I have all three of the DAR's, .177, .22 & .25. I have had all of them empty on me but it was easy to find the issue and fix it in each case. The poppet usually needs to be burnished to keep a good seal over time but since the gun is SUPER easy to break down and work on, a person that likes tinkering (me) can make them work.

I did have to exchange my first one due to a regulator issue and I am working on my .177 due to horrible accuracy. I was sent a couple barrels to try and so far, the accuracy is coming around.

I do have issues with hammer bounce after I modified the hammer spring on the .177 (lower fps) but that is my doing.

Good luck!
