Dang, the one that got away.

Been working on tuning my Impact .25, gen 1, with the standard X barrel and I've now got it shooting better than it ever has. Recently had a very calm day so tried my luck at 103 yds.

Five shot groups, 900 fps w/ MKII

First three shots to the left target went into the bulls eye were practically on top of each other. Then..... two way off. I think this just shows my inexperience under pressure.

But the right target was a very respectable 7/8" so I didn't go away unhappy. Would have been a real "brag target" for me had all gone in the bull that far away...So Dang, Dang, Dang haha

Respect!

good tuning, you are on the right track!

Are u sorting your pellets? Cause I’ve had the same issue with my Bobcat, then I’ve tried to sort my pellets and dang it’s much better, the groups are tighter and the shot consistency has improved!

and what I’ve also noticed on my Bobcat was the grip, it has to be the same on each shot, otherwise the gun „recoils“ every time different, so that’s a thing I’ve to watch out after consistent trigger pull!

so again respect on your tuning, I’ve ordered an impact, and i hope i squeeze it that it shoots as good as yours!

cheers

JCD please let us know how the B liner does. It wasn't available when I ordered my barrel or I would have waited since all I shoot is heavies. Would sure be interested to hear about your thoughts after you try it.

Patrick, I don't normally sort but for utmost accuracy and for competition its a must. I did sort one time and I did notice increased consistency. I'll have to try again. This was straight from the tin so I could have had some fliers but since they were both to the right I think that it was just me.

Cheers
