Dang, I'm Impressed

New Impact MK2, .25, 700 mm barrle, Power Plenum.

Right out of the box, cleaned barrel, and with a quick tune to bring the speed up a bit for the JSB MKII's.

Targets at 30 and 60 yards shooting into an 11 mph gusting wind. Only about 50 shots total through the gun. I AM Impressed.

Can't wait to see what it does once broken in! And I'm surprised at how good the groups are with a quick tune.

If you follow Ernest Rowe's tuning procedure on YouTube for the FX, you'll shoot those sized groups at 100 yards! The most important adjustment of all, is the hammer stop. Even 1/8 turn, can lead to tiny groups, as opposed to large ones!

I found this to be true. I had a large fps spread, and a 1/8 turn dropped it from about a 40 fps spread to 9. Another smidge on the hammer stop, and I got an extreme spread of just 4 fps with unsorted pellets.
