Daisy Daisy Avanti 753W Elite Competition- Information wanted.

Very nice Dan. I should look into a 753 to go with my 853. They are a pleasure to shoot, especially after the trigger is fixed.
Jeff, did you install the sear adjustment screw? Also, Daisy doesn’t run these that often. The box says that they are assembled here in the U.S from German and China parts. We know the German part. The barrel. Everything else is from China. This may make them get even harder to acquire. I’m stocking up on replacement parts. Cheap and in stock. At least for the moment.

Jeff, your gun is a 753. Your gun has the MC (wood) stock, larger removable front sight and deluxe Diopter. That’s the three differences between the 753 and 853.
And an adjustable butt pad that I can’t get anymore. Lol

It is in fact an 853 as bought, I installed the 753 sights and i cant remember where the butt pad came from.🤔 yes I installed the sear adjustment screw, but I can't get it as light as I'd like without the safety becoming non functional. I believe I need to provide more relief on the piece you have to modify.

Yes. The front side of the trigger needs to be filed down as per the picture. All the way to the extended flat. Borrowed picture.
