When I was searching the internet to try and understand the stock lengths of the Daisy 753 vs 853, I could not find anything definitive. So this post will cover this topic. I like a bit longer trigger reach so these three models are set up at 14 inches. The 853c (top in picture) has one “butt pad” spacer to get to the 14”. The 753w (middle) has two spacers. And the 753s (bottom) has three spacers. Also as a side note, the spacers supplied with the new synthetic stock fit both 753/853 wood stocks better than the supplied ones that came with the rifle. However, they have a lip on the one side that needs to be removed. Daisy sells the spacers for a $1 each. Just specify for the “synthetic” stock. Hope this helps. Thank you.
