Daisy 717 video

The 717 .177 caliber 717 only achieves 360 + or - f.p.s. with light target pellets. It doesn’t cut crisp holes in target paper; it tears them, so you can’t use the gun in a formal match. But for informal shooting around the house, there aren’t many that beat it. It is super accurate easy to cock and built to last a lifetime. https://youtu.be/rqhw7EGR_eU

I remember when I was in my teens I used to see these air pistols in stores Along with all the popular Crosman models. The 600 and the mark ones for example. But I never really looked them over good because once I turned 10 or 11, I was more interested in powder burners. So it wasn’t till probably five or six months ago people on here were talking about the 717 and then I did some research on it and decided I wanted one. And I’m very happy that I got it. I like them because they’re so simple with no springs or CO2 .Just cock it load and shoot. And very accurate as you know yourself.I can’t say for sure because I don’t have a chronograph. But I think mine probably shoots close to 400 FPS. Because it is Almost as powerful as my Beeman P 17. And I have BB guns that Will shoot 350 FPS and this one shoots much faster.I have my cocking arm adjusted 1/16 from maximum adjustment. I use the RWS 7 grain Meisters.

Thanks for sharing. I would have loved one of these as a boy on the farm. Bro and I had to share a Benjamin pump rifle to keep the sparrow population down in the chicken coop. And it would have been perfect for the hanging shotgun shell shooting sessions, not to mention the grasshopper hunting. I’m going to pick one up since I missed out earlier. Isn’t it so awesome that we have this hobby? Shooting accurate guns anytime, even in the house. We are very lucky boys and girls indeed.
