Daisy 1200

The model 1200 replaced the 200 in 1977 and was produced until 1996, it's as if Daisy went backwards in development.

But in doing so produced a fine and iconic co2 bb pistol.

Today we examine and shoot the second variant 1200 at 25 feet off hand.

Daisy made this pistol in three basic variations. Var. 1 had a fully adjustable rear sight and a small window to check the BB reservoir. Var. 2 had same rear sight but no window. Var. 3 had a rear sight with height adjustment only and no window. , https://youtu.be/qBhg7WSOT24

I just bought a 1200 not long ago and it shoots good. I got 2 model 200s and they were supposed to work but neither one would hold CO2. So I gave up on trying to find a working 200. One of them leak in the valve and on the piercing pin . And the second one leaked in the valve only. And that’s the one I still have and have no idea how to repair that.

I will be working on a Daisy 200 in about a week. Have a 1200 piercing pin coming. They are interchangeable with the one with no seal system. Also think I can make the other needed seal. I'll keep you informed of the progress.

Also working on a crosman 338 should have it done soon.

Professor Septicdeath,

Thanks for another top notch video of a sweet shooting gun. I really like the pre-video write-up formula, too. That Daisy 1200 is a good looking gun and I'm going to keep an eye out for one. Can't stress enough how important this work is that you do and how appreciated it is. Keep up the good work.

I have an update. I found I was completely lied to after giving them the benefit of the doubt because I took it apart and there was a screw missing and also that tornado shape spring is gone. Without that spring I’ll never fix it. Good luck with yours.
