Set up a blind across from the dairy farmers feed supply. Shot a couple of hours for two days. All the birds I shot were actively in the feed gorging themselves. Got them mostly with my Taipan SHorty. It's wonderful inside a blind. Was using the 'Doghouse' blind. Great for one and a little cozy with two. Set up and take down in about a minute or two.
Also had the WC2 and I think I can say it 'was' my favorite PCP. I am having some accuracy issues with it so need to go lay it on a chrono for awhile and see what's going on. Hope I didn't get another Hawke scope with a manufacturing defect. I think it's the age old regulator creep.
My tally...3 crows, 8 collared Doves. 1 park paigeon, about a mix of 15 Starlings and Black birds. I don't shoot blackbirds at home. Only when on a farmer's food pile actively easting and pooping in his feedl
