My dad had an old airgun he tore
apart and couldn't figure out how to put it back together or fix the valve problem it had. I figured if I ever wanted to call myself an airgun man I would have to fix this gun! Baker airguns supplied the valve rebuild kit and pump gasket. I suplied the time and cursing. Honestly I had no idea what I got myself into. I tore it apart and put it back together again 5 times. The top hat seal had to be melted out cleaned out and resealed. But nooooo that wasn't enough the god damn top hat had to play games and by the 5th time i finnaly put some e6000 in a very small and deliberate way and presto it worked! I was super happy. These arnt super rare but I haven't been able to find one since the build and I had one as a kid. I figured it was a good candidate for my first camo paintjob for practice. I am pretty happy about the results. My daughters 760 is next. I need to get better before I duracoat my condor. Anyway this is tbe next squirrel hunter and it is dead on accurate with open sights.
