cvlife 3-9x56 any good?

so I'm looking for a better scope for my old eyes. I have a ruger Blackhawk elite with the stock 4x32 it came with. to be honest to me its not really a bad scope its more my eyes. 4 power is just not enough to bring things in at 25 yards. at least not for me. I can keep the pellets contained to a 1.5 diameter circle but I know I can do better. is anyone familiar with these? they are $40 shipped on ebay. that's not a lot but can't go too crazy on a $100 gun. here is a linkhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/top-w-rings-3-9X56-red-green-mil-dot-illuminated-optics-hunting-air-rifle-scope-/260974082107?hash=item3cc344783b

so I guess no one is using one of these cvlife scopes. that being said I've since looked at some other reviews on the net and they seem to have good ratings. I just ordered the cvlife 3-9x56 with just the crosshairs not the one I posted a link to as I like the fact there will be less to break or buy batteries for. just want to keep it simple. I should have in a few days and will be following up with a report of my findings. the price was right so I won't be out too much @ $35 shipped if it ends up being poor.

well here is an update on this cvlife 3-9x56 scope. it was a total waste of money. the optic's are terrible beyond belief. to say its blurry would be an understatement. I moved the eyepiece in and out and it made no difference whatsoever. because of having to use high mount rings to clear the barrel I was 8inches low at 20 yards and ran out of elevation adjustment. I hate to say it but the cheap 4x32 ruger scope it came with is a much better scope if that's saying anything. at least its clear and is accurate , just can't pull things in close for my old eye's. lesson learned.

I have one, and even have a modest review in the forum.

edit: apologies, my review was for a different model.

In my experience, the quality was low, but it does work. The focus mechanism on my my CV-Life scope is machined poorly. It binds and requires that I loosen the eyepiece to move through the full focus range. The glass is clear though, and at full power I could read the ingredients off of a soda can at 50yards.

Yup, there is a point where you can bet you are NOT saving money on a scope, that one has a ton of ( odd to me ) features at the price point of a few tins of pellets but I guess it's fun trying new things.
I have a QB ( which sell for something like $89.00 in the big box stores these days ) with an Aeon 10-40x56 , the cost of the rifle has nothing to do with whether or not it "deserves " a quality scope. If the airgun will shoot well and you either have less than 20/20 vision or plan on shooting long range a good scope is worth the money.

I have one of these and I must say its EH if you have a kid your trying t teach not doing anything hardcore not worried about it getting damaged form a fumble them its ok
clarity on close to max zoom starts to go pretty hard the tracking of the turrets are actualy pretty decent not the best but good enough
the illuminated recital is great I I bought this for a p-rod I bought my nephew overkill I know but he wanted to try and shoot long range and learn how to use a range finder in the scope like my hawk so for 50-60 buck it was a great starter to make sure he takes care of it but really for 50 bucks more not a lot you can just get a utg witch is LOADS better

well just an update. after messing with this and backing the rear eyepiece out a mile I finally have a clear optic view. had to shim the rear mount to get the elevation adjuster under control. so now its just a matter of trying to get it dialed in and see if it holds and holds up to this springer. I never had a scope that needed the lens backed out so far to clarify it. who knows it may end up working out. will have to see

well after messing with this for the past 2 days i'm calling it quits with this cvlife scope. I had it perfect yesterday zeroed @ 20 yards and check it @35 . it was doing great but today is another story. way off . nothing has loosened or moved and its just all over the place. I can get it good for 2 shots then I'm back at the dials . not sure whats going on but I'm done with it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. i'll save up and spend more for better. I was hoping it may work out but not this time.
